What Is Dartmouth Bound?
Dartmouth Bound is a selective residential college-access program for rising high-school seniors who currently live in and attend high school in the United States, regardless of citizenship. Dartmouth encourages students from underserved communities—including first-generation, low-income, rural, under-resourced-school, and otherwise limited-access backgrounds—to apply, while stating that all students meeting the rising-senior and U.S. school rules may apply.
The 2026 application has ended, and both four-day sessions—July 19-22 and August 2-5, 2026—are complete. Dartmouth covers selected students' travel, housing, and meals. Participants live in Dartmouth residence halls, learn about admissions and financial aid, review sample applications in a mock admissions committee, attend faculty sessions, tour campus, and connect with current-student mentors.
