TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE)

# TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) TYE is the high school program of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), a global network of founders and investors that runs the academy through its local chapters. In Atlanta, students meet twice a month across the school year at Atlanta Tech Park, form teams, and build a startup from idea to investor pitch with working entrepreneurs as instructors and mentors. ## What You'll Do - Attend 15 sessions on alternate Sundays from 1-4 PM, October 18, 2026 through April 18, 2027 - Learn ideation, customer discovery, business models, finance and marketing from founder-instructors - Form a team and build a startup concept, business plan and pitch deck over the year - Get mentoring from TiE charter members - entrepreneurs, executives and investors - Compete in the chapter's final pitch competition; chapter winners advance to the TYE Global finals against teams from TiE chapters worldwide ## Who Should Apply Students in grades 9-12 in the Atlanta area who are interested in entrepreneurship, business or STEM. Students register individually online; the cohort is capped at 40 students and admission is first-come, first-served, with a waitlist once the class fills. TiE runs TYE through chapters in roughly 30 cities, so students elsewhere should check their nearest TiE chapter. ## Outcomes The fee is $550 for TiE members and $650 for non-members. Participants finish with a built-and-pitched venture concept, a mentor relationship with practicing founders, and entry into the TYE alumni and TiE Global network, which has run the program for more than 18 years.
