What Is University of Baltimore High School Summer?
This free, in-person School of Law program introduces Baltimore City Schools students to law school, legal careers, undergraduate admission, and college planning. The completed 2026 academy ran July 20-24 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily and enrolled at most 20 rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Lunch was included.
Students completed mock-trial instruction and practice, toured the undergraduate campus and law school, met attorneys, admissions representatives and alumni, explored careers and wellbeing, and presented a final mock trial. The 2026 application was available May 1-June 1 and required a 200-400-word interest essay. Capacity could trigger a waitlist, and selected students were notified by June 15. The 2026 cycle is closed; 2027 dates and terms are not announced.
