What Is USBC Star of Tomorrow Scholarship?
USBC’s Star of Tomorrow awards recognize a female high-school junior or senior through the Alberta E. Crowe award and a male junior or senior through the Chuck Hall award. Each winner receives a $6,000 scholarship based on bowling performance, academics, extracurricular activity and civic involvement. This is not an award for college students under 22.
The standing requirements include a 3.0 unweighted GPA, transcript, two recommendations, at least three years of documented bowling participation, a photo and an essay of at least 500 words with no more than 15% AI use. Each award may be won once. The official page lists December 1 without a year or clock, and the USBC portal lists youth scholarships as available. Confirm the selected award’s current calendar and complete application; other USBC scholarships have different rules.
