# Wharton Future of the Business World Future of the Business World is the Wharton Global Youth Program's flagship live online summer offering, an intensive two-week program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Students from around the world attend live daily online events and work independently, exploring how innovation, technology, and global forces are reshaping business. The 2026 sessions ran June 15-26 and July 6-17, with roughly three hours of required live instruction daily - a two-hour lecture block plus a one-hour recitation - alongside small-group projects. ## What You'll Do - Attend live daily lectures and recitations led by Wharton-affiliated instructors - Practice design thinking, scenario planning, marketing, and teamwork in small groups - Analyze diverse business topics, from entrepreneurship to emerging technology - Build a final project making predictions about the future of the business world ## Who Should Apply High school students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 with a strong interest in business and global affairs. Applications open in the fall with a priority deadline in late January (January 28 for 2026) and rolling admission afterward; the program is selective and applicants submit through Wharton Global Youth's online application. ## Outcomes Participants finish with a Wharton Global Youth program credential, a completed future-of-business project, and exposure to the analytical frameworks Wharton teaches its undergraduates. Because it runs fully online, the program offers the shortest path to a Wharton summer experience for students who cannot travel to Philadelphia; tuition is published on the program's application pages.
