What Is AFS Global You Adventurer?
AFS Global You Adventurer is a five-week virtual intercultural exchange for teens ages 14-17 worldwide. Cohorts of up to 25 students complete 20 self-paced modules, quizzes, assignments, and discussions in a closed forum, then join four live sessions with an AFS-qualified facilitator. The workload is about 16 total hours or 2-3 hours per week.
Current 2026 cohorts continue through December. Standard tuition varies by country, normally $120-$315, with $315 displayed in the enrollment flow. The separate donor-funded scholarship application is currently closed. Completion earns an AFS Global Competence Certificate and Credly digital credential, but registration is first come, first served and requires payment, eligibility, reliable technology, and sufficient English proficiency. This is an AFS International program, not an AFS-USA-administered exchange.
