What Is American Computer Science League (ACSL)?

ACSL’s invitational Finals are an online competition for students who qualify through regular-season contests. The 2027 Finals are on May 29 using HackerRank Secure Mode, with webcam and browser-integrity controls. Invitations begin May 1; confirm final qualification and payment timing with your advisor and current invitation. The fee is $35 per invited student, paid through the invitation link.

Divisions have different qualifying scores and test schedules. Senior, Intermediate and Junior students take programming and short-problem tests; Elementary and Classroom students join the afternoon session. Work must be independent, with no AI or outside help, and prizes are individual. Ask your advisor about qualification, payment, technology and the detailed schedule. Regular-season round cutoffs are not a Finals application deadline.
