The Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) is China’s top national mathematics competition for high school students, serving as the final selection stage for the Chinese team that competes at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). It is organized annually by the Chinese Mathematical Society, typically held in late December or early January, and brings together the country’s strongest contestants from earlier rounds of the national Olympiad system.
