What Is Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO)?
The Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) is the Chinese Mathematical Society's national secondary-school mathematics final, also described as the national winter camp. It is not an open global application. Students first participate through their provincial-level mathematics-competition system and the National High School Mathematics League; the Society reviews those results and publishes the final/winter-camp roster.
The latest official roster visible on August 20, 2026 is for the 2025 final / 41st winter camp. That notice followed completion and review of the 2025 preliminary contest and National High School Mathematics League. The Society subsequently published 2025 final awards in April 2026. Its site has not yet published a 2026 CMO host, event dates, roster, qualification cutoffs, final format, fees, travel terms, or appeals calendar.
