What Is DAR American History Essay Contest?
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution runs an annual American History Essay Contest for students in grades 5-8 at public, private, and parochial schools and registered home-study programs. Participating local DAR chapters collect and judge entries, advancing one winner from each grade to state, division, and national judging.
