What Is Deer Hill Wilderness Leadership?
Deer Hill’s Wilderness Leadership expedition combines San Juan mountain backpacking, student leadership, a solo experience and cross-cultural service at Zuni Pueblo. The 2027 course is July 1-22 for ages 16-18, with tuition of $6,850 and 32 service hours. Arrival and departure use the Mancos base, while expedition activities take place elsewhere.
The page calls the course 25 days and its itinerary extends through day 26, which conflicts with the printed dates. Confirm the itinerary length, tuition inclusions and enrollment deadline before booking travel.
