What Is The Diana Award?
The Diana Award is a global individual honour recognizing young people ages 16–24 who have delivered at least 12 months of sustained social action. Current nominations must align with one or more of four Sustainable Development Goal themes: Quality Education, Reduced Inequality, Good Health and Wellbeing, or Climate Action. Young people cannot nominate themselves, and teams cannot be nominated as a unit. An unrelated adult over 18 who knows the nominee professionally must submit the nomination, identify two additional professional supporters, and provide three pieces of English-language evidence. After eligibility screening, external judging, and due diligence, up to 200 recipients are honoured annually. Recipients receive a certificate, a permanent Roll of Honour entry, recognition in a virtual ceremony, connection to a global young-leader network, and invitations to Conversations for Change. Nominations for the 2026 award opened October 1, 2025 and closed October 31, 2025 at 17:00 GMT. That cycle is closed.
