# Diller Teen Fellows Diller Teen Fellows is a yearlong leadership program that runs parallel cohorts in 32 communities across seven countries, including nine in the United States: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Greater MetroWest (New Jersey), Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco. Each city selects roughly 20 fellows a year through a competitive application, and the cohorts are linked internationally through a shared curriculum and a summer seminar in Israel. ## What You'll Do - Meet regularly across a full year with a small local cohort led by trained coordinators - Work through a leadership curriculum covering facilitation, Jewish identity, and community organizing - Design and run your own tikkun olam (community repair) project - Partner with a twinned cohort in an Israeli city and take part in the international summer seminar in Israel - Join a global alumni network spanning three decades of fellows ## Who Should Apply Most communities select "Jewish 10th and 11th graders"; a few, including San Francisco, take 11th graders only. Applications go through your local community's Diller program and typically include a written application, at least "one letter of recommendation," and group and individual interviews. Application windows and criteria are set community by community. ## Outcomes Fellows leave with a completed community project, a year of structured facilitation and leadership training, an international peer cohort, and access to Diller's alumni network - including its Alumni Impact Initiatives grants. Published US fees run roughly $3,600-$4,000 after the automatic Helen Diller Foundation subsidy, with need-based scholarships available.
