What Is GW Pre-College Programs?
George Washington University's Pre-College portfolio is not one uniform program. Summer Immersion is a two-week, full-day, noncredit D.C. experience for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors, available residentially or as a commuter. College Intensive gives rising juniors and seniors access to credit-bearing undergraduate study, including a six-week online option. Caminos al Futuro is a separate fully funded, selective three-week residential track for rising seniors in U.S. high schools.
The 2026 Summer Immersion price was $4,950 residential or $4,350 commuter, including program fees and supplies; residential charges included room and all meals, while commuter charges included lunch. A nonrefundable $500 deposit was credited toward tuition. College Intensive tuition, course fees and books varied; Caminos was fully funded.
