What Is High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling?
HiMCM is COMAP’s international mathematical modeling contest for teams of up to four high-school-or-below students from the same school or approved educational programme, with a faculty advisor. Teams develop and submit a written solution during the November 4–17, 2026 contest window. Advisors must register by November 4 at 2 p.m. EST; reports are due November 17 at 9 p.m. EST. Registration costs USD 100 per team and is nonrefundable. Teams must follow current affiliation, assistance and submission rules.
