What Is ICAS Mathematics Competition?
ICAS Mathematics is Janison's year-level school competition for Years 2–12. It assesses arithmetic, patterns, geometry, data, algebra and related concepts through logical-reasoning, problem-solving and critical-thinking questions. Students normally enter through a participating school and sit under supervised conditions; Australian testing centres offered a separate path for students whose schools did not participate.
Australia's 2026 entries are closed. The school Mathematics sitting window is August 24–28, but Parent Payment System registration closed July 24 and extended school-direct entries closed August 16 at 11:59 p.m. AEST. Testing-centre Mathematics entries closed August 9 and cost AU$57.75.
