What Is AMTI National Mathematics Talent Contests?

The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India conducts the National Mathematics Talent Contests, NMTC. The programme has used school and examination-centre routes for non-routine mathematics problems. Previously published information described several levels rather than one grades 9–12 contest.

For the previously published 58 th NMTC 2026 cycle, registration closed July 21, the preliminary test was August 30 and the final was scheduled for October 25. The individual entry fee was INR 150. Those dates and payment instructions do not establish a new cycle or late-entry acceptance.
