What Is India International Sarabhai Student?
This award has a documented history, but the catalog materially misattributes it. A contemporary 2025 report identifies the sixth edition as an NCRTS India initiative led by Anjan Banik, with retired ISRO/NASA scientists participating as mentors. An older school record attributes the third 2022 edition to Vigyan Prasar under India's Department of Science and Technology. VASCSC's current official programme and project listings do not identify this award.
The 2025 process invited students across India, began with online Sunday quizzes during January-February, and described later spaceflight-simulator and astronomy assignments. Five awardees were to be honored on August 12, 2025. No authoritative 2026 application, grade/age rules, fee schedule, or deadline was found.
