# Jackling Introduction to Engineering Jackling Introduction to Engineering is Missouri S&T's oldest and largest summer camp — a five-day residential program in Rolla, Missouri that helps high schoolers discover how engineers turn ideas into reality. Three identical sessions ran in 2026 (May 31–June 4, June 14–18, and June 28–July 2), each with a capacity of 150 campers. The $650 registration fee includes all meals, housing, and camp materials. ## What You'll Do - Spend mornings hearing S&T engineering departments present their fields and the technological challenges their graduates tackle - Visit your top five departments for hands-on activities, lab tours, and research presentations - Interact with Missouri S&T engineering faculty and current students throughout the week - Compete in evening camp competitions and live on campus with fellow campers ## Who Should Apply Students ages 15–18 (rising 10th–12th graders) who are curious about engineering but want to explore the discipline landscape — from traditional majors to specialties like materials, mining, and environmental engineering — before choosing a college path. Campers register first-come, first-served, and sessions fill: registration for 2026 is closed, with waitlists maintained for cancellations.
