What Is 2026 Teen Writing Project - Fall Edition?

The Loft Literary Center's fall Teen Writing Project is a 12-session, in-person advanced-fiction class for writers ages 15-18 who are already working on a novel or short stories. It meets Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Open Book-Loft Classroom in Minneapolis. The detailed session list runs from September 17 through December 10, 2026; the page's header instead says December 9, so students should rely on a written confirmation from the Loft before making travel plans.

Tuition is $444 regular or $399.60 for Friends of the Loft, with Klarna installments shown at checkout. The separate Access Funds program reserves at least one aid seat per class and, subject to the rolling pool and priority rules, can reduce a student's contribution to 10% or 25% of tuition. Aid is not guaranteed.
