What Is Meadowmount School of Music Summer Session?
Meadowmount is a seven-week pre-professional string program in Westport, New York for auditioned violinists, violists and cellists ages 10-30. Students receive a weekly private lesson, weekly two-hour studio class, chamber coaching and masterclasses, attend performances and activities, and follow a highly focused practice schedule. The completed 2026 session ran June 20-August 7.
For 2026, tuition was $5,450. On-campus room and board was $4,030 plus a refundable $65 security deposit; most residential students therefore owed $9,480 before the refundable deposit.
