What Is Missouri Scholars Academy?
Missouri Scholars Academy at the University of Missouri uses school nominations for its 2027 academy, scheduled June 13–July 3. Nominations are expected to open in November 2026. Students must be current 10th graders, attend a Missouri high school or be homeschooled in Missouri, and live in Missouri.
A school official submits the nomination within the school’s allotment; students and families may submit their own only for homeschool nominations. Materials include student and school information, GPA, an aptitude test score, two recommendations and two essays. The official 2027 calendar specifies a February 12, 2027 nomination cutoff at 5 p.m. Central (23:00 UTC), followed by accepted-scholar registration on April 9. The nomination page does not repeat the cutoff; check the 2027 calendar and confirm the operative form.
