What Is Montclair State University Pre-College Summer?
Montclair's one-week residential programs let rising 10th-12th graders explore a focused academic/career field while living in campus residence halls. The 2026 catalog included creative writing, AI/engineering, animation, business, fashion, film, law, health, teaching, psychology, theater, Model UN, communications, and Wall Street topics. Most class days ran about 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; every program included a professional field trip plus supervised evening activities.
The completed 2026 sessions ran July 12-18 and July 26-August 1 and cost $1,900 per program, including tuition, housing, meals, and field trips.
