What Is UW-Madison Badger Precollege Programs?
Badger Precollege serves grades 4-12 in humanities, arts, music, business, psychology, government, STEM, college preparation, and international readiness through day, commuter, residential, and occasional online options. In 2026, PACE served students finishing grades 4-8 in one-week day sessions for USD 650 plus a USD 50 registration fee. High-school pathways included two-week Badger Summer Scholars for USD 2,600 commuter, USD 4,450 domestic residential, or USD 4,800 international, and three-week Accelerated Learning Program options up to USD 5,100, each plus a USD 100 fee. Applications opened January 12 and mostly closed May 1; 2026 programs are complete. Scholarship materials were due April 1, with full awards primarily for Wisconsin students and limited out-of-state awards up to 50 percent. Summer 2027 dates, applications, and prices are not yet published.
