What Is Summer Discovery High School Pre-College?
Summer Discovery, a brand of Musiker Discovery Programs, Inc., operates a large umbrella of pre-college enrichment programs for grades 9-12. Summer 2027 applications are scheduled to open August 25, 2026. Students must choose a specific campus, duration, academic course or academy and residential or commuter arrangement; there is no single Summer Discovery curriculum, price, schedule or eligibility rule.
The high-school catalog advertises more than 300 university-curated courses at 15+ campuses in fields such as business, technology, arts, engineering, law, medicine, psychology, research, science and mathematics. Courses and academies run about two to six weeks. Current campus cards include locations such as UCLA, Yale, Dartmouth, Michigan, Georgetown, UC Berkeley, UT Austin, UC Santa Barbara, Oxford, Cambridge and UBC. Being physically hosted on a campus does not make a participant an admitted undergraduate or guarantee credit or admission at that university.
