What Is CS4CS – Cyber Security for Computer Science?
CS4CS is a free, four-week, in-person summer cybersecurity program at NYU Tandon in Brooklyn. The 2026 session ran July 13-August 7, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The May 15 application deadline has passed, and no 2027 cycle is yet published.
Eligibility is much narrower than the former grade 9-12 listing: 2026 applicants had to be current 10th- or 11th-graders living in specified New York City, Long Island, Westchester/Rockland, or New Jersey metro areas listed by NYU. DTCC sponsorship funded a full scholarship, and NYU explicitly states that the program costs participants nothing.
