Program Overview
Nonprofit that supports and improves U.S. quizbowl through question standards, resources, and the NSC national championship.
The Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence (PACE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting high-quality quizbowl competitions in the United States. PACE is best known for running the National Scholastics Championship (NSC), one of the premier national quizbowl tournaments for high school teams, and for promoting rigorous, pyramidal questions and fair competition standards. High school quizbowl teams qualify for PACE NSC by performing well at designated tournaments throughout the school year. Any school with an established quizbowl team can participate in qualifying events, and top teams are invited to PACE NSC. Participating in PACE-affiliated competitions helps students deepen their knowledge across subjects, develop quick recall and strategic thinking, and gain experience at one of the highest levels of academic competition in the country.
