What Is Peace First Grants?
Seed Grants are intended for early-stage efforts, Development Grants for growing initiatives and Growth Grants for projects ready to scale. Award amounts vary by tier. Grantees may also receive mentorship, practical resources and access to a global changemaker community.
The grant-specific FAQ says applicants are typically ages 16-35, may live anywhere in the world and may apply as individuals or informal groups without a registered organization. Projects must be youth-led and designed to create positive community change. The page names education, climate justice, mental health, equity, civic engagement and peacebuilding as examples, but other community needs can qualify. Peace First says applicants do not need a fully developed project, yet some action must already be underway to demonstrate commitment and momentum.
