What Is Riley's Way Call for Kindness Fellowship?

The Call for Kindness is a 12-month project fellowship, not a one-time essay contest or unrestricted cash prize. Riley's Way supports U.S. young people who are building a new or existing social-impact project grounded in kindness and empathy. For 2026, eligible applicants were ages 13–23 and were U.S. citizens or DACA recipients; up to two eligible Fellows could lead one project. Those terms must be rechecked for the next cycle.

Fellows receive one-to-one coaching and project support, monthly virtual skill-building, mentorship, a national peer community, and an in-person leadership gathering. A selected project may receive up to $5,000, disbursed in two tranches; the second 2026 payment depended on meeting fellowship expectations. The program may later offer continuation grants, but neither the maximum award nor any continuation funding is guaranteed.
