Formerly the Spirit of Community Awards, Prudential Emerging Visionaries recognizes high schoolers solving financial and social challenges in innovative ways. Winners receive $5,000–$15,000 and a trip to Washington, D.C.

## About the Prudential Emerging Visionaries Program Previously known as the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, the Prudential Emerging Visionaries program recognizes high school students who are developing innovative solutions to financial and social challenges in their communities. The revamped program focuses on actionable, creative approaches to building a more equitable society. ### Award Details - **National Winners**: 10 students awarded $15,000 each - **State Honorees**: 100 students awarded $5,000 each - **Additional benefit**: Trip to Washington, D.C. for national finalists - **Application Deadline**: Typically November annually ### Eligibility Requirements - High school student (grades 9–12) - U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA status - Developing a project or solution addressing financial security or social equity challenges - Sponsored through participating national youth organizations ### What They're Looking For Students must demonstrate: - **Innovation**: A unique, creative approach to a financial or social challenge - **Impact**: Measurable or potential positive change in the community - **Persistence**: Evidence of sustained commitment to the project - **Scalability**: Potential to grow or replicate the solution ### Sponsoring Organizations Students must apply through a participating organization such as 4-H, Boys & Girls Clubs, Elks, Girl Scouts, Key Club, or other national youth organizations.
