What Is Baylor Summer of Discovery?
Baylor Summer of Discovery is a summer-semester course offering for current Baylor undergraduates and students already admitted to Baylor, not a grades 9-12 pre-college experience. Current students can choose online or in-person classes; incoming students start with online Summer 1 or Summer 2 courses.
The 2026 discounted undergraduate rate was $1,650 per credit hour. Incoming freshmen also submitted Baylor's normal $500 enrollment deposit, credited to their first bill. Eligible financial aid, Baylor scholarship appeals, and outside scholarships could help under their own rules. Courses are taught by Baylor faculty, count toward degree progress where applicable, appear on the Baylor transcript, and affect the cumulative GPA. The 2026 sessions ended August 14; 2027 dates, pricing, registration rules, and aid terms are not yet published.
