What Is Tufts University Pre-College Programs?
Tufts Pre-College is a portfolio rather than one $5,000 program. It spans arts, engineering, computer science, health, medicine, business, social impact, research, a six-week college experience and dual-enrollment courses. Individual offerings differ in subject, duration, location, residential availability, academic credit, prerequisites and price. Most summer applicants are entering grades 10-12, with stricter grade, age or biology requirements for some programs.
The 2026 summer cycle is closed and its sessions have ended. Published examples ranged from a $3,625 one-week commuter Mini Med session to the six-week Tufts College Experience at $9,196 commuter or $11,790 residential. Most non-Dual Enrollment applications used rolling review with a May 1, 11:59 p.m. Eastern final deadline and required a $550 credited enrollment deposit after admission. Limited need-based aid was available. Tufts says 2027 information will be published in fall, but no dates or prices are yet posted.
