What Is Washington University High School Summer?
WashU's High School Summer Scholars programme lets current high-school juniors take one or two credit-bearing undergraduate courses alongside noncredit enrichment. Students may live on campus, commute or enroll online. The 2027 programme runs June 13–July 17 and is for juniors graduating in 2028.
Applications open December 1, 2026. Complete applications and supporting documents are due March 1, 2027 at 4 p.m. Central Time for early consideration or April 1, 2027 at 4 p.m. Central Time for regular consideration. Aid applications and income documentation follow the applicable deadline. The checklist includes short essays, a transcript, a teacher recommendation and a 50 dollar nonrefundable application fee, with English-proficiency evidence for relevant international applicants.
