What Is UMiami Summer Scholars Program?
The University of Miami’s Summer Scholars programme is a three-week, six-credit experience for current high-school sophomores and juniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Residential and commuter students follow the 2027 course schedule June 28–July 15, with residential move-in June 26 and move-out July 16. Applications open November 1, 2026; early action closes December 31, international and scholarship applications March 1, and regular applications April 1. A USD 75 application fee applies. The separate UM Academies route is two-week and noncredit; tuition and aid depend on the selected route.
