What Is USD Healthcare Careers Summer Camp?
The University of South Dakota's annual Healthcare Careers Summer Camp, run through the Sanford School of Medicine's Office of Medical Education, introduces high school students to health care professions. The 20th annual camp ran June 7-12, 2026 at the Lee Medical Building in Vermillion.
Students who will be juniors or seniors in high school in the fall. Only 40 applications are accepted each year; applications are requested by email. The 2026 application deadline was May 11, 2026.
