What Is Windsor Festival International String?
Windsor International String Competition selects advanced violinists, violists and cellists for recorded and live rounds. The 2026 event was September 27-October 2, for any nationality ages 16-26 on September 27. Applications closed July 29 at 23:59 GMT; winners are announced. The 2027 winner engagement is not a new intake.
Historical entry was £75 nonrefundable. Applicants provided unedited video, repertoire, CV, short biography, ID, portrait and a recommendation. Cash/recording/performance prizes were conditional on selection. Read the linked full rules; future dates, fee and age anchor are unannounced.
