# Wisconsin Business World Wisconsin Business World is the WMC Foundation's summer business camp for high school students. Held on a Wisconsin university campus, the four-day, three-night program challenges teams to create, build and run a business from the ground up while meeting executives from companies across the state and touring working facilities. ## What You'll Do - Live on campus for four days and three nights (2026 camp ran July 12-15 at the Sentry School of Business and Economics, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) - Work in a team to launch a company: product, branding, financials and pitch - Tour Wisconsin manufacturers and businesses to see operations first-hand - Meet and question executives and entrepreneurs who volunteer as camp leaders - Test-drive college life on a university campus with a structured, supervised schedule ## Who Should Apply Wisconsin high school students who want a hands-on look at business, economics and free-enterprise decision-making before choosing a major. No prior business coursework is expected; the camp is built for first exposure. Students register directly through the WMC Foundation, and the Foundation also runs shorter MINI Business World sessions and statewide competitions during the school year. ## Outcomes Registration for the 2026 camp was $325 early-bird and $350 regular - low relative to university-run business camps because Wisconsin employers sponsor the program. Participants leave with a completed company project, a week of campus residential experience, contacts among state business leaders, and eligibility for Business World's follow-on competitions and scholarship opportunities.
