What Is Carnegie Mellon AI Scholars?
Carnegie Mellon AI Scholars is a fully funded, four-week residential AI programme in Pittsburgh for current high-school juniors who will be at least 16 by June 26, 2027 and are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The session runs June 26–July 24, 2027. Applications are due February 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST, with decisions April 1. No coding experience is required. Tuition, housing, meals and selected activities are covered; limited travel assistance is available. Applicants submit a transcript, two recommendations, essays and financial documentation.
