What Is Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp?
The Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp is a free 20-hour introduction to artificial intelligence for students in grades 9-12. The fall 2026 cohort meets at host companies on October 31, November 7 and November 14. Students learn AI foundations, machine learning, prompting, data and ethics, image generation, entrepreneurship and design thinking, then apply those ideas through a career track and capstone. No coding or prior AI experience is required.
Hosts supply computers, lunches and snacks. The Foundation describes transportation assistance for students who need it, but availability and local arrangements are not public. Students submit an interest form and choose a career track; a parent or guardian must submit a separate application. Accepted students confirm by an email-specific deadline. Completers receive a certificate and access to the alumni network.
