What Is Science for Success Teen Internship?
Science for Success is a one-year Cleveland Museum of Natural History internship for students from Cleveland-area high schools. Interns work on project- and mission-based opportunities at the Museum and in the community, primarily with its Education and Community Engagement Departments. Museum professionals provide mentoring, hands-on science experience, practical work skills and career guidance.
The internship begins in September and concludes in August of the following year. During the school year, interns are expected to work from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on two weekends a month. Summer work is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on two to three days a week, up to 28 hours per week. The summer maximum is not a fixed year-round weekly commitment.
