What Is Doodle for Google?
Doodle for Google is Google's annual U.S. K-12 art contest. The completed 2025-26 theme was “My superpower is…” Eligible students created one original, two-dimensional, scannable interpretation of the Google logo plus an English description of at most 50 words. A parent/guardian, teacher, nonprofit leader, or afterschool program submitted the signed one-page form online or by mail.
The contest was explicitly no-purchase-necessary and closed December 17, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. Pacific. The next cycle is not announced. Generative AI could support brainstorming only; using it to create any part of the submitted Doodle was prohibited. Entries also had to be unpublished, respect intellectual-property/privacy rules, and depict at most the entrant rather than multiple people.
