What Is FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)?

FIRST Tech Challenge teams of students ages 12-18, generally in grades 7-12, work with mentors to design, build and programme robots. BIOBUZZ is the 2026-27 season challenge. Joining a local team and registering a team nationally are separate processes.

The provider lists a $350 season registration fee, excluding official event fees and robot hardware. It also gives approximate materials and new-team startup costs. These are team costs, not a fixed individual tuition price. Local schedules, consent requirements and fees need confirmation.
