Georgia Educational Technology Fair
Organization: Georgia Educational Technology Fair, Inc.
Program Overview
Statewide technology competition where Georgia students showcase digital projects and skills across multiple tech categories.
The Georgia Educational Technology Fair (GAETF) is a statewide competition where Georgia students create and present original technology projects in areas such as digital video production, graphic design, robotics, animation, 3D modeling, programming, audio production, and more. Projects are judged by technology and education professionals on creativity, technical skill, and effectiveness of communication. Students in grades 3–12 first typically qualify through local or regional technology fairs before advancing to the state-level GA Educational Technology Fair. High school students (grades 9–12) compete in age-based divisions against peers from across Georgia. The fair helps participants deepen their digital literacy, build portfolios of real projects, and gain experience presenting work in a professional setting—valuable preparation for college applications and STEM careers.
