What Is HOSA-Future Health Professionals?
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an active global career and technical student organization for learners interested in health professions. It is not a free standalone high-school program. HOSA serves middle-school students in grades 6-8, secondary students, and postsecondary/collegiate learners through separate membership and competition divisions.
A student must join through a local HOSA chapter; HOSA does not sell individual student memberships. Students at a school with an existing chapter contact the local advisor. Where no chapter exists, a faculty or staff advisor works with the HOSA state advisor or headquarters to obtain a charter number and affiliate the chapter online. Local and state requirements, calendars and opportunities vary.
