What Is Houston Ballet Academy Five-Week Summer?
Houston Ballet Academy's Five-Week Summer Intensive offers Levels 5-8 dancers age 12 and older a demanding pre-professional schedule in Houston. The 2027 program runs June 19-July 23, with roughly six to eight hours of training per day, Monday through Saturday. Coursework extends beyond ballet technique and pointe to partnering, repertory, contemporary forms, conditioning, dance history and nutrition, and Levels 5-8 perform at the end of the session. Optional housing and activities are available.
Admission requires an in-person or video audition. Registration is already open for the October 18, 2026 early Orange County audition; the broader audition tour and video deadlines are scheduled to publish November 1. Houston has not yet posted 2027 tuition or housing prices, so the still-visible 2026 fee table is retained only as historical context.
