Kiwanis Builders Club

# Kiwanis Builders Club Builders Club is a Kiwanis Service Leadership Program for middle school students, the middle rung of the Kiwanis family between elementary K-Kids and high school Key Club. Members - typically ages 12-14 - run their own club: they elect officers, choose the causes they care about, and plan service projects for their school and community, with support from adult Kiwanis volunteers and a faculty or community advisor. ## What You'll Do - Choose activities that interest you and put your talents to use in real service projects - Elect officers and run student-led meetings, learning to organize and lead - Partner with a sponsoring Kiwanis club and advisors who support your club's success - Join a network of more than 1,100 clubs and over 23,000 members in 21 countries ## Who Should Apply Middle school students at schools or community sites with a Builders Club - ask your school office or local Kiwanis club. If your school does not have one, an educator or Kiwanis club can charter a new club through the Builders Club site; clubs launch and enroll year-round with no application deadline. ## Outcomes Members develop a passion to serve, skills to lead, and the ability to engage and collaborate - the program's stated goals - while building a service record that continues naturally into Key Club in high school.
