What Is 2027 National High School Dance Festival?
The 2027 National High School Dance Festival takes place March 6–10 at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. Students in grades 9–12 participate through eligible high-school dance programmes in the United States and abroad. Independent studios and homeschooled students cannot register independently; qualifying high-school partnerships follow NHSDF rules.
Published charges are $250 per school, including two faculty/chaperone registrations; $195 per student, up to 30; $100 per additional chaperone or guest, up to six total; and $30 per adjudicated work, up to six works. Travel, hotels and meals add costs. Initial school registration was due September 18, 2026. Full registration, clearances and waivers are due January 6, 2027; adjudication submissions December 6, 2026; and student scholarship applications January 18, limited to ten students per school. Class registration runs February 22–26. Forms and payments must be received by the listed dates, not merely postmarked. Schools seeking entry after the initial deadline must ask the organizer about availability.
