What Is QuestBridge College Prep Scholars Program?
QuestBridge's College Prep Scholars Program supports high-achieving high-school juniors from low-income backgrounds as they prepare college applications. Scholars receive guidance and access to a peer community, with consideration for separate benefits such as college summer-program scholarships, admissions conferences, essay or test-preparation support, campus visits and $1,000 Quest for Excellence Awards. Specific benefits depend on selection and availability.
Standing eligibility covers juniors attending high school in the United States, whatever their citizenship, plus U.S. citizens and permanent residents living abroad. Other international students outside the United States are ineligible. Selection considers academic achievement and financial circumstances in context; the commonly cited household income below $65,000 for a family of four is a typical profile, not an absolute cutoff.
