# Riordan Scholars Program The Riordan Scholars Program is UCLA Anderson School of Management's tuition-free Saturday academy for Los Angeles-area high school students who want a route into business and a competitive university. It runs across eight monthly Saturday sessions on the UCLA campus, from a September orientation through a May closing session, and pairs scholars with UCLA Anderson MBA students who serve as mentors. ## What You'll Do - Attend eight monthly Saturday sessions at UCLA Anderson (2026-27 orientation September 12, 2026; sessions October 17, 2026 through May 1, 2027) - Work with MBA-student mentors on leadership, professional skills and college planning - Compete in the program's stock market and real estate competitions - Complete SAT preparation sessions that alternate between in-person and remote formats - Hear guest lectures from business practitioners and receive college counseling ## Who Should Apply Rising sophomores and juniors, plus a limited number of rising seniors, who attend high school in the greater Los Angeles area and can commit to Saturday sessions across the academic year. The application asks for an unofficial transcript and the contact information of one teacher, counselor or community reference. ## Outcomes Admitted students participate on a tuition-free basis, with supplies, materials, continental breakfast and lunch provided at each session. Scholars finish with a mentor network inside a top-ranked business school, a structured college plan, SAT practice, and a path into the Riordan pipeline's later college-to-career programming.
