What Is The Adroit Prizes for Poetry & Prose?
The Adroit Prizes recognize student poetry and prose. The published 2026 rules allowed secondary and undergraduate students worldwide. Poetry submissions could contain up to five poems, with a ten-page limit; prose submissions could contain up to three fiction or creative-nonfiction works totaling 3500 words. Excerpts were allowed.
The 2026 deadline was extended to May 12 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. That window has passed. The nonrefundable submission fee was 15 dollars, with a financial-assistance form available. Winners received 200 dollars and publication; other recognition and publication were competitive. These are 2026 terms, not a 2027 fee or award promise.
