What Is The Bronfman Fellowship?
The Bronfman Fellowship is a pluralistic Jewish leadership and learning program for students in grade 11 in fall 2026 who are from the United States or Canada and identify as Jewish. Applications for the 2027 fellowship are open, with a December 1, 2026 application deadline and December 3 deadline for recommendations and transcripts. The official roadmap gives calendar dates without cutoff clocks or timezones.
Applicants provide two recommendations, including one teacher and one other non-relative, and a transcript through at least grade 10. Finalists are notified in mid-January, interviewed in February and selected in early March. The fellowship begins with a free immersive summer experience in Israel and the United States and continues with virtual experiences and U.S. seminars. The 2027 fellowship calendar is still to be announced; dates extending into early 2027 on the roadmap belong to the prior 2026 cohort. Confirm the travel arrangements and detailed covered expenses.
